Bulbo patens
A hot grower from India. 2", non-resupinate flowers, that always face the mount for me. It has a fragrance that reminds me of spice drops.

Very unusual! I looked up your post from last year of this bloom the other day because Gin gave me a bulbo patens back in May. I cannot wait to bloom it!
Cheers,
BD

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ...Hmmm? .

That was a good post last year, LOL..The thing that I note is I said I had 100 Bulbos and that was 7/3/07...We are a year later and I now have 175...Bruce can you string my patens post together again next July?? It will be interesting to see how many I will have in July 2009. Bruce, you will really like the fragrance!

I can't wait for it to bloom. I keep looking every week. It has grown lots of roots since I brought it home. Hopefully blooms are coming soon!
And +75 in a year - wow. Your really are addicted. I am so glad you share them with us.
Cheers,
BD
