    Smile Cymbidium Bicolour

    Native in Malaysia. This is the lowland type small flowers about 2 inches in the wild grow on the tree branch that can support them. The leave very big in size. The photos below from my backyard.

    Those are cute cyms. I have one similar that I got in Hawaii. I don't know the name of it, but it grows like a weed. It also has a small, colorful bloom like this one. The leaves are different though, so I don't think it is the same one.

    Very nice!... Excellent photography too... Looks like a DSLR!... I wish I could propagate these as phals are done... I cant find any Cym plants here in Iran!...

    I like the terrestrials....they are some of my favorites. Their foilage grows into a beatiful display under an awning where they avoid the burns. If they didn't take so much room; during the cooler seasons I use them to shade my outdoor phals. Then split them for the hotter months to share. I end up with a section small enough to winter over and my friends get free sections. Makes everyone happy.

    Mohsen if you have opportunity you can come to Malaysia. Here they sell many type of orchids especially in Taman Orchid Kuala Lumpur.

    I noticed the fruit tree. We have a lot of those back home in the Philippines. The fruits are sour, right? I don't know if they have an English name though., we call them "kamyas"

    You are right Marissa very sour but so nice to put into our dishes especially when coconut milk and prawn are add together. Very delicious..... In English they call it star fruit but doesn't sound right any way in Malay we call it " Belimbing Buluh"

    Oh, our starfruit looks like this and we call them "balimbing" which is almost similar to "belimbing". But I guess they are in the same family, just like the succulent and cactus. Anyway, I apologize, I didn't mean to change the subject. Thanks

    Yes .. you are right, same no different delicious and sweets when ripe. Balimbing and Belimbing is the same fruits.Malay language and Tagalog have some connection because we come from South East Asia. It O.K Marissa no problem just think about the knowledge who knows maybe somebody from USA or Europe come to South East Asia at least they can pronounce the correct thing.
