Aeranthes grandiflora
My seedling, of this Madagascar species, has it's first bloom. I need to back at night to smell it for it is night fragrant.

I find that with certain plants, if they get too much nitrogen in their fertilizer, they will keiki and not bloom. I have not experienced this with Angraecoids but it is a possibility. You may want to use less fetilizer or one with a low N #

Beautiful bloom, Ron. Thanks for the tip about the keiki and nitrogen for this one.
Cheers,

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ...Hmmm? .
