Default Weird -What is it?

I photographed this oddly beautiful plant Marie Selby BG in Sarasota, FL the last time I was there. Does anyone recognize it? I think it is an orchid but I'm not even sure of that. The blooms are growing on the leaf vein - how cool is that? It is very exotic looking to me.

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ...Hmmm? .

I have seen this plant on a website....I have been trying to access the website but for some reason it just will not load at all! Of course, if I weren't trying to help you out it would have loaded in a second. lol Stinkin' puter hates me this week. I think it's all the rain or something.
Anyways, I'm not sure I am allowed to just give it to you this way, I'll p.m. you on your page.
Connie

My first guess was some sort of Liparis, but noticed the attached raceme, so now the guess is a Pluerothallid of what kind I could not guess.

Its a mystery. sos, you have some good info. It's a jewel. Pluerothallid is my guess too. Where is Mahon he will know. Hey Pat, let us know you're ok, Tami
