    Smile Peristeria Elata

After almost 2 years finally this guy put on flower spike. The inflorescence is about 1.5 to 1.7 meter almost reaching my son height. The flowers have a nice herbal perfume make it me hypnotized and feel calm deep into my heart. National flowers of Panama almost extinct in the wild and worth to make seed pot. He.he. he. Just to share.

Beautiful bloom, Zain. With the spike being as tall as your son, do you have to stake it up or is it ridged enough to stand on its own? The P-bulbs look huge too! I want one!

    Cheers,
    BD

Bruce the P-bulbs really very huge with height 5 to 7 inches and diameter with the biggest circumference between 10 to 15 inches. It stand on its own but very very unstable due to spike too heavy easily toppled by wind and rain water. I have small baby and how to deliver to you?
