Default catasetum saccatum

One of the orchids that will "throw" it's pollen at you ! It also has the superglue of orchids, that it attaches its pollen with. Very sturdy !

Something(a gnat or fly) made most of them eject and hit the floor but there was one that "attacked" my finger !(second picture)

LOL...I think you are right after reading this article...

Jay Phals website says they can eject up to 8 ft !!!

BTW, this is a male flower. Female is really odd looking.
