    Default Spathoglottis plicata

I am actually not sure that this is Spathoglottis plicata, if anyone could confirm.
Just bought 2 of those little guys in Puerto Rico (for $2 !!!) labeled as "Wild orchids" , the blooms look a little like mini Phals, they are extremely fragrant
(think Grape -flavored children cough medicine ...)
Can't take credit for those blooms, obviously.
First time trying a terrestrial orchid! (wish me luck)

I have a very pretty one, after splitting it I've waited patiently for it to rebloom. Hopefully I will be able to see it bloom again this spring. Yours looks pretty....and it has smell? I don't recall mine ever having a smell....lucky you!

I have a variation of this one, but despite it's fruity name-- Spathoglottis plicata 'Sobert Tropical Punch'-- I didn't notice any fragrance from it either.
By the way, great find for just $2!!

Ron, are you telling me that in your 500+ orchid collection, you do not have a Spath Plicata?
I actually bought 2 because I mailed them to myself (from Puerto Rico) and thought that at least one would make it alive back to snowy, freezing NYC.
I just got them today and they're both absolutely fine!!
If they do well for me, I'd be happy to give you a division in the Spring.
