    Default Rhynchostylis gigantea 'Spot'

Stephen inspired me to go and get a photo of this orchid before it faded too much to really get any good shots. It has been open for some time now. If you look closely, you can see why it was named 'Spot'. It usually has the great white splotches throughout the blooms, but this time it seemed to bloom more solidly with the spots appearing at the first few blooms to open on the end of the spike.

Bruce, do you have it well trained? If I call 'here spot! Come to me!' Would it obey?

If only! I would teach it to keep its roots in its own pot! LOL

Very, nice! The color is amazing. It's funny because mine is also "spot".

BD, I have 2 Rhy' gigantea 'Spot' and they flower with the lack of spots as this one has I'll be in raptures. Its definitely gone the "sagariks" strain of gigantea.
