Jimmy Durante, was an American singer, pianist, comedian, and actor, whose distinctive gravel delivery, comic language butchery, jazz-influenced songs, and large nose — his frequent jokes about it included a frequent self-reference that became his nickname: "Schnozzola" — helped make him one of America's most familiar and popular personalities of the 1920s through the 1960s.

I can see what you mean the flowers look like they have a face with a big nose, I think they are really very lovely, thank you for the pictures and for the explanation of who Jimmy Durante was.

I actually saw right away what you meant with Durante (and no I haven't started drinking red wine yet!)

    That's a really cool bloom!

hahaha... I see what you mean! I like the bloom. At first I thought it was much larger than it actually is because of the great close up photo. Thanks for sharing it.

    Cheers,

I think we need to keep Tim away from wine, LOL
Petite Sirah grapes, in this country are Durif grapes. It is a French grape developed in the late 1800's. So Tim, can we consider you as a cheap date?
