    Default Sederia japonica

A species from Japan that is a cool to warm grower, with sweetly fragrant flowers, similar to Lemon Pledge. I have a couple of these but this one has the best markings. It needs to be mounted or have a fast draining medium. bright shade but I give it higher light in the winter.

That is stunning. I would love to have one, but not sure if I can grow it. Is it "harder" to grow than normal catt, especially here in hot Houston area?

they are grown like Phals but dryer. I bet it would do fine there and most likely can be grown outdoors all year.

Thank you Ron! I will look for one next weekend at Houston orchid show. This will be my first orchid show, I am preparing a "shopping list" so I don't end up broke.

lists don't work and there are plenty of ATM's available nearby...enjoy the show! If you overspend, beans and rice are cheap and healthy

this ie beautiful Ron, another plant that has been on the wish list since forever...

and Ron, Liz, the lists partly works, many a times those on the list gets purchased but it won't necessarily stop you from buying more than what's on the list..

Beautiful. I don't know if your plant is nicer than mine, or not, but I'd say the photograph is!

    Cheers,
