Hmmm-well I've never tried growing it in the house as I have a greenhouse so I'm not a good candidate to advise you on it.I always had trouble spiking one until this one but others I've had in past were already in spike when I got them.

I grow mine in my home. I like to grow in Semi-Hydro so mine are planted that way. I have several growing in moderate light, I water them every day. One had rather dry looking P-bulbs when it arrived so I mist just those P-bulbs about every 4 or 5 hours, or when I remember. I love watching the flower open just like a butterfly unfolds it's wings.

I bought the same plant 4 years ago in 4" pot, I haven't seen a single bloom, the new bulb gets smaller and smaller, maybe I will never see a bloom on this one.
