Lovely flowers, and I like the leaves on the second one too.

If you notice the first one has blotchy yellow areas on the leaves. It was bred for this leaf design.
The variegated one was quite large but I divided it into multi pieces and sold them last year to help an internet buddy who lost his collection to the furnace going down in his greenhouse.

I love the var Higashidemiyako (variegated one). That is really such a beautiful plant. Nice of you to divide it and help a friend.

    Cheers,

Ron, I am hoping to buy a 'Higashidemiyako'. I notice you have yours planted in a clay pot, and it looks interesting to me. Do you have an air pocket underneath the spag? I don't do well with mounted plants. I would like to try your method, or put it in lava rocks like I do my Vandas. My Vandas love it.

I just ordered 2 very mini, I mean mini, mini, Neofinetias and they scare me. I'm not sure I can keep them alive long enough to ever see the blooms but I want to try.

    Advice welcome.

    Marilyn
