I have one of these, mine is finished blooming thanks for sharing. i didn't bother to take
pics of it as it is too difficult to photograph it, especially with just using a camphone.

Love Oberonias!
I wonder if the genus was named after Shakespeare's King Oberon (King of Shadows and Fairies, from A Midsummer's Night Dream)

hi ron,
thats a good question, anybody?
the bloom maybe not so spectacular coz of their size, but if there is 10 or more in bloom it really looks neat, besides i love the foliage, its just so different in the orchidworld.
cheers

John Lindley described the genus Oberonia in 1830. We may never know if Shakespeare's King Oberon was involved in the name.
Edit found a couple of references: (Have to love the internet and search engines)
Common Name or Meaning Named for Oberon the fairy king a reference to the insignificant flowers
Synonyms Iridorchis Blume 1822
