Default Eria fastigatifolia - big plant, small flower

Found in the Philippines at elevations of 300 to 1300 meters as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with erect, canes enveloped by leafless and leaf bearing sheaths and carrying in the upper half, several, grasslike, acute, linear basally clasping leaves that blooms in the spring on many short to 1.6" [4 cm] long, , 9 to 10 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acuminate floral bracts.
    (From IOSPE).

Once more, I had to call for help from Jim Cootes in identifying this plant.

Nelson, that is really cool. I love all of the orchids you share with us that are so unusual. Thanks for getting the information about this one too.

    Cheers,

well, the blooms might be not too impressive, but i like eria's mostly for their foliage, given the space.
