    wow! very nice.. and glad to see that the orchid info is being enriched by the photos you're posting... so is this really rare? if it is, better stick a toothpick in it

    yes, it is really that rare, im probably the first one to post this guy, and other than the drawing from 1955, nothing was known.

    no toothpick, its on a chain in my private bunker! lol

    Wow, where'd you get this plant? I've never seen this around the flea market here. This is one of the staurochilus varieties that I still don't have in my garden.
