    Could very well just mean that this particular cross has a great deal of variability. The form on the white one is a bit better but the red on yours is simply stunning! Of the two ... I'd steal --er make that "appropriate" yours

    Lycaste skinneri hybrids are variable. Nice red on this one!

    The flower is about 8 cm across and I don't know why the petals are so recurved this time.
