Cool Finally had a moment to work on a video

Well, the brachiata is still blooming. It now has both blooms open! and I took my point and shoot camera out there yesterday and made a short video. I really hope to get an actual video camera one day so that my little orchid music videos are clearer. Please forgive and enjoy. Oh, and I worked on Bolero, but while listening to different versions and different Bolero singers, I found this instrumental by Alex Fox and thought it was beautiful. Now that I am finished, I really wished I could have found some music from a Filipino artist since this orchid is a native orchid of the Philippines. Maybe when it blooms like the one in the IOSPE photo, I can do a new video and feature Fillipino music.

    Anyway, please enjoy:

    Cheers,
    BD

    Default Congrats!

Really a stunner! Does it need lots of humidity and therefore not suitable for apartment conditions??

Thanks, Bill. I would assume it needs lots of humidity since the roots grow all along the plant exposed. The humidity in the greenhouse is pretty high. But why not give it a try. If you mist it, you could probably grow it in an apartment. Good luck!

Very exotic bloom and quite refined in contrast to the rather bulky looking plant.
Nice of you to share Bruce, thanks!
