No, I have bulbo putidum. It is similar, but they appear different to me. Take a look at my thread: bulbo putidum

    Cheers,

I checked with the vendor. It is either Bulbo putidum or Bulbo fascinator.

Here is my bulbophyllum putidum (how it was labelled by vendor):

Sorry for the quality of pics.
However, I conducted an investigation and figured out that my "Bulbophyllum putidum" is Mastigion (bulbophyllum) appendiculatum :
This species is similar to Mastigion putidum which has irregular lamellate palae, petals that are linear-oblong and a acute to subacuminate labellum, but M appendiculatum differs in the clavate cilia, narrowly triangular-lanceolate petals, and a roundish, obtuse labellum.

    Bruce,
your plant is very nice, but are you sure it is Bulbophyllum putidum?...I mean, its inflorescences are not single-flowered as it described here:

Bruce, may be your bulbophyllum is a hybrid with bulbo putidum or other bulbos similar to putidum?
I was looking for bulbo hybrids and found an interesting picture:

This plant differs from yours, but it has two flowers on the inflorescence. My guess is your plant has one of multiflowered parents like b.rothschildianum, for example.

I may be wrong and your plant IS b.putidum. I just did not find any information about bifloral putidums. I will be glad to learn more!

Thanks, Natalia. I will have to look into this further. I felt certain that it was b. putidum and not a hybrid, but could obviously be wrong about that. In any case, I still enjoy it. Thanks for your efforts.

    Cheers,
    BD
