What fun. watching someone else waiting for a bloom to open. Your flower will be gorgeous. I like the idea of almost bloom section. I have a Paph spicerienum that is getting ready to bloom and I just want to peak inside. Glad I'm not the only impatient one.

I know how you both feel. I have been guilty of 'helping' the almost mature bud to open before it's time - a sort of induced delivery.
.At the moment I have 2 oncidium-type with buds and my Paph stoneii, whose sheath seems to take forever to develop.Every day I talk to them, try to cajole them and will them to speed it up - but they are still taking their time!

I am so relieved....i'm not the only one around watching those buds develop. I also have "helped" some phals and dens along as well.

I like your picture, Margo. You can post another in a few days when it's open.

Oh the anticipation..... when these things happen i always wanted to give them a bit of a
helping hand.... so far i've been able to fight the urge to do that and just wait a few more
    days.
