Hm.....lovely I would say good growing Natali I bet the smell is awesome please keep away from the open spaces as the insects so envious with the color and smell too.
Wow. great looking bulbo. thanks for sharing
Bulb. sikkimense has been blooming for almost two months. The flowers last about one week but there are always some new spikes emerging
Wow your paradigm shift to Bulbophyllums seems very successful I can see a lots of bulbophyllums thrives in your garden in a nice manner, I think the broad leaves and longer maybe Bul phalaenopsis so green and pretty.
Thank you Bruce and Zain!
I always loved Bulbos. I mean, since I started to fall in love with orchids. It happened in March 2008 when I saw Bulb. fletcherianum 'Old Stinky' at local orchid show. So Bulbophyllums and Cattleyas are my favorite genera. It was a period when I preferred Catts but now I am back to my first love, Bulbophyllums.
You are right, you can see the Bulb. phalaenopsis which I showed earlier in this thread. It is doing really well. Last year it grew a 95 cm long leaf. It was going to produce even bigger leaf this year but maturing p-bulb was seriously damaged by cockroaches or other greedy hungry insects. It is doing better now.
There are two plants of Bulb. fletcherianum and one Bulb. orthosepalum on the picture. I also have Bulb. agastor and Bulb. cruentum, babies of B. macrobulbum and one primary hybrid, Bulb. Laura Newton.
Here is my Bulb. phalaenopsis exactly one month ago
Other Bulbos of Section Macrobulbon
