i couldnt be more thrilled...
this genus was established in 1981, taken out from the dendrobium, mainly because of this incredible flexible labellum, a slight touch and it its flapping.
also pbulb and leaves are different from dendro's.
so far only 8 species had been found, 6 in the philippines, and i have to say this were the most wonderful coloring i've seen on the labellums.
this little beauty stays fully open for a few hours and therefore putts everything in it, from orange, green, purple, creamish brown with stripes and tip is lavender, which gets darker while wilting, amazing huh?
so nice, Ron!!
Its interesting Ron. Good job getting the shots if it only stays fully open for a few hours!
it only stays open for a few hours?
Very beautiful though
Very nice. You have some really beautiful plants.
