    Liz,
I am growing this in a mix of cocopeat and charcoal. Exposed to full sun, with a sprinkling of osmocote. Hope this helps.

I wasn't aware there was a dwarf form. I am very glad to know that.

    Randy,

I saw an alba form of the Arundina but that was a very long time ago - many years back. All I remember it was owned by some grower in the Los Banos, Laguna area.

Unfortunately I cannot (and will not attempt) to grow the Arundinas. Reason? i do not have the grow space to handle such a tall plant (later). Besides those plants need almost full sunlight and I can't provide that because I have a covered area.

Yeah they do grow big from what i've read the standard could get 2m tall, this one could
only get 2ft tall according to Jun. I grow this one outside the fence, exposed to full sun.
Nobody bothers to notice it as this is not a typical orchid to be found here. And jojo,
what do you mean that you dont have space for this? of course you do, you still have the
    roof right? hehehe

The roof? Oh my gosh! I'd fall off the roof and plummet straight down if I'd start a garden on the roof! You saw the photo of my place (front view from the street outside) in the My Grow Areas thread have you? Just imagine how scary it would be up there! And I get vertigo from tall heights.

Jojo, surely you'll make an exception for our orchids right? I can't even count how many
times i've injured myself (minor), just to please these babies.....

Seems there's a lot of interest in Arundina graminifolia. So the next time I go up to our apartment in the Cameron Highlands ( sometime in mid Feb to spend Chinese New Year with family ) I'll make it a point to take some pics of the various arundinas from the short to the tall and the various sizes and colour of the blooms. Sorry no alba form as I have never seen one.
