Interesting..mine is labeled Cadetia taylorii, and it looks exactly like yours. I had asked to be sure they had it labeled correctly and they said there was some natural variation. I'm guessing yours is named correctly. I'm soooo glad you posted such a great pic. Now I know what to label mine. Thanks for sharing and finally shedding some light on my Cadetia's true name! Oh, and on a side note....they have an amazing scent. It is easy to miss if you don't get right up close to smell them.

Connie, your plant is not correcly labeled as I have pointed it out at your thread.
This plant has/had been sold under various names including Cadetia potamophila. I thought it was Cadetia umbellata... It finally was described as Cadetia schuitemanii two(?) years ago as a new species.

To confuse the issue a bit more, I have a (this is what the label says) "Cadetia chionantha". Apparently this was formerly classified in the Dendrobium genus. I don't know when this change took place. I have a photo of it but I hesitate to post it because it isn't MY photo that I took with MY camera :-) Could any of the above mentioned Cadetia species have formerly been in the Dendrobium genus, out of curiosity? I have a Cadetia taylorii that's growing really well so I figured I could grow this other one too (we'll see, LOL). I have a photo of that too (I TOOK THE PHOTO) but compared to the other one someone posted, I'm definitely not going to post mine! All this information is very helpful as I'm just getting up to speed on the new identifications... Thanks everyone!
