    Default Dendrochilum Tenellum

    This is the last one of my dendrochilums into bloom. Will have to wait for another 6 months or so before it will start all over again.

    I've had a couple of these for maybe 4 years and can't get them to bloom. WHat's your secrets. Yours is a beauty.

    Dear All,

    Many thanks for your appreciation. I also think it's a beauty. Very delicate.

    Herewith some answers to the questions asked :

    - the plant is about 40 centimers wide and 30 cm high (now you can start converting into feet and inches...);
    - the individual flowers are extremely small (about 1-2 millimeters)
    - unfortunately the flowers do not smell;
    - don't know about the secret of getting it to bloom, I kept the plant in the coolest part of our otherwise relatively warm veranda and moved it onto the much warmer windowsill in the kitchen when I noticed the infloresence kept stalling for while. I spray it twice a day, water once a week and apply fertilizer every two weeks from March to November .
