Those are great, Branka. The last one with all the blooms is amazing. Is it fragrant? (Ornithocephalus manabina)

    Cheers,
    BD

Wow! All three if those are very nice. I like the Restrepia, but it is the Ornithocephalus manabina that takes the cake. The blooms are nice and shape of the plant itself is awesome, I immediately thought it kind of resembled a mix bewteen a fan and a squid.

Then I looked back at the name. Ornith means bird, or references birds. Squid and Octopus are both Cephalapods and the plant itself is Ornithocephalus. So, this guy is the Birdsquid plant. And yes, I know this is a bit random. :-)

Interesting thought, Derek. You may find bird or squid in this closer snapshot, to me it looks more like bird And BD - doesn't smell
Here is another one Ornithocephalus - Ornithocephalus bonplandii:

@Branka- Yes, with the closer shot I can definitely see a bird in the blooms. A bird shaped bloom and a squid/octopus shaped plant, hence Ornithocephalus. I like the Ornithocephalus bonplandii picture, very nice.
