    another two flowering Gastr. calceolaris. This species is very variable in the shape and flower colour.

    Ron, Gastr. calceolaris is reported also from Philippines ( in the past as Gastr. philippinensis), but these plants, I think, are from China. This species is the most widely distributed Gastr.

    i see, i think its the only gastrochilus species we have here and i doubt it would do well at sealevel.

    I love this species, they are very unique with abundant flowers, not all can bloom in hot climate here.Nice Ian.
