    hi,
    this one really tested my patience, took 3 months to open with 3 spikes on it.
    this species is widespread throughout asia.

    Ron very easy to grow and flower here too, lovely species with the blooms very unique and lasting.

    Yes I agree so easy to grow and very rugged. Can withstand very little care. Flower spray looks like a rattlesnake's tail when in full bloom.

    it even gets crazier when those inflorescence twist like a screw, i couldnt take a pretty shot of those coz the blooms were full of soil, so you better mount it higher up.
    as for the culture, as jojo said, pretty easy going, semi shade on the warm side. i have it mounted with bulbos next to it, but they can take more sun as well. if you pot em, little media is needed, coco chips and alike.

    hi pat,
    flowers are about 1cm across, plant is quite big, just google it or look for other posts here.
