    Default Cirr Elizabeth Ann five spikes!

    I know Cirr Elizabeth Ann has made the rounds here and some of you have plants that make mine pale by comparison but this is the first year I have had 5 spikes on this plant... the most ever! One hasn't opened fully and is on the other side of the pot.








    This is the 1st flowering for me of something I received about a month ago. I sure didn't notice a spike when I got it but am thrilled to see a very nice flower....

    I love these little beauty's! Are the blooms short lived, (4 days or so)?

    I don't know about the wendlandianum because this is the 1st flowering for me. The Cirrho lasts at least a week or more.... these flowers have been opened for several days already. And no foul odor from either!

    They only last a week? Wow...but hey you got this one to bloom like a weed! Great job! And your pics...I love second to last with all the bright colors and contrast. Very nice!

    Wow, what a beauty! I like it! What abaut smell? As I know this is a prmary hybrid between the two species - Cirr. logissimum and Cirr. rothschildianum, and Cirr. rothschildianum does not smell very nice.

    I have had this bloom several times and have never detected an odor.
