    Aerides leeana has an arching inflorescence, and the shape of the midlobe and sidelobes differs considerably. The spur is shorter and it points forward.

    Most spurs or hypochiles of Aerides species are sharp pointed not ballooning. Regardless of the leaves, you would see its flower resemblance of Ascocentrum.
