    Thanks Roy. Perhaps I got a little mixed up. I meant the subtribe Aeridinae (not Aerides) to which Pteroceras belongs, as mentioned in the first sentence of my post. But I committed the same mistake in that sentence as in the title. I'm looking for a way to edit posts but there seems to be none.

    Very nice flowers but I doubt it is an aerides.

    Default New Seed Pod

    Due to the sequential blooming pattern of this orchid, the pendant flower spike I posted several months ago is still forming new buds as the spike continues to grow longer. (Notice the buds at the end of the spike)
    This morning, while watering, I noticed that an elongated seed pod had formed on one of the spikes.

    I just wished the blooms would last longer so I could enjoy them more and the fragrance as well.
