A little late on this, but great little flower. Did you find that it closed in response to touch? I have a question about the plant. What are your growing conditions? Mine was doing really well and had set some little spikes, then, without warning, leaves started dropping and the spikes browned. I am, as of yet, not clear on what I am battling, but I moved it to an even shadier and cooler position in the gh. I would love to learn from your success...and I hope it's not too late for my little plant
The lip of the flower will close up if you or other object touch it.
My plant is growing under 55-75F temperature, on cork mount and good humidity and shady(600-700FC), moist but not wet(sometimes almost dry).
