    A very uncommon beauty - such a welcome departure from the usual red and orange associated with renanthera.This is the first time I have seen this species and I must say that it has been quite a while since I have felt such excitement at seeing an orchid!

    I can see great potential for it as breeding stock with other vandaceous orchids. I hope that I will be able to see a hybrid of it within my lifetime.

    Great photography as usual, CX. This orchid is definitely TOP on my wish-list. Thanks a million for sharing.

    @Cattan

    There have been made already hybrids with this species. Search in google for Renantanda Paul Gripp, a very nice hybrid.

    @catttan: How easy to send a plant to you? If it not too difficult I can send this one for you. PM your address to me I will try.

    A lovely and small Vietnmeses species described over 10 years ago. Thank you for the photos.

    How tall was your plant when it first time bloomed? I have a seedling and it is about 3" tall.
