Got these new babies last week. Most of them I have no idea of the ID.
    Hopefully someone can ID them.

The first one is labeled pomatocolpa.

They are all very cool, Randy. I really like the green and red one in the final two photos.

    Cheers,

I will be interested to hear what they turn out to be. That last flower has a rather bug-like appearance to it.

I too will be interested to see their names. You found some very unusual orchids! Is the one with the yellow flowers (second to last plant), a Lockartia lunifera?? The braided look is very neat....there is also a dendrobium that grows braided like that as well, if I remember correctly.

The pomatocolpa has a slight scent. I too liked the foliage on the 2nd to the last one.
And it reminds me of a den i saw before.

    hi randy,
first one certainly looks like a pomatocalpa and a very showy one, but couldnt id it.
second is probably b. odoratum, pls sniff on it, i remember nelson told me once it has no fragrance, despite the name.
third one, if its a den it should be in the aporum section, couldnt find it.
and last if definitely staurochilus loheriana, one of my favourite in this genus, but hard to grow in lowlands.

hope others can help out as well, good finds!!!

Thanks for the ID on the stauro ron, when it first opened i thought that it was a stauro
as well. the bulb. odoratum doesn't have any fragrance, when i first got it i thought that
it is fragrant because of the name but its not, maybe only a certain time of day.

I hope i wont have a hard time growing the stauro here in the lowlands.
