    Renanthera bellina is also quite small.

    Yes .... and another Philippine Renanthera that is a small bloomer is Ren. Matutina. Both look almost the same but I think Matutina has slightly smaller flowers and darker in color. ANother is that R. Matutina is endemic to the Mindanao area unlike Ren. Monachica which is found in Luzon and in some parts of the Visayas.

    I have a Renanthera coccinea which is about 1.3m tall.But I still never see its flower. I just like the bright color of Renanthera.
