    Default Zootrophion endressianus

I posted this one here last year. It just recently got repotted, and then went absolutely nuts, throwing out 4 new leaves, and a whole buncha buds. I think it has a total of 19 blooms.

And no, they don't open any more than that. They have little slits on the side which pollinating insects can enter. It's in a 4" pot.

Man, you're killing me Sue. You're posting the petting zoo of orchid weirdness this evening, all shot in pitch black conditions with no flash. Truly stealth weird. It's making me crazy wanting to know what these puppies look like!

This one looks particularly strange / cool but we definitely need more light on the subject!

    Ok, I reshot it:

Here's a close up of two blooms. You can just barely see the tiny tiny slit on the top one, on the side, where the pollinator enters. Ok, you probably actually can't see it, but you can pretend. The only way to see it really is to move the plant back and forth until you see light coming through, and I can't really capture that with my camera.
