    Default Psychopsis mariposa

This one keeps on producting flowers for months on end!!
From pictures I've found on the web, the yellow variety looks even prettier.
    Haven't come across one yet, though.Name: IMG_0815[1].jpg

Very nice. Looks to be about three feet tall? Love how these guys bounce in the wind like a butterfly when not staked.

    Cheers,

Wow! Two spikes! I have a Psychopsis Hildos that has been blooming for 3 months and won me a third place ribbon in my first show a couple weeks ago. Looks like it is growing another leaf with a new spike too. If I can ever figure out how to get a photo on here I will show it to you. I love these plants!

I have three plants and always wanted a yellow one. Had a chance to purchase one. But did not the yellow was not a brite yellow and it looked faded or dule. And the flower was smaller. When you have a space problem your selections are numbered.

The smaller spike, which is carrying a flower right now, is indeed about 3 feet tall.
The second spike however is about 5.5 feet!
With a bit of luck, they will be flowering at the same time in about a month or so as both are preparing to produce a next flower.

This is a hybrid(papilioXKalihi). With the name spelling like that, I thought it was a species that I didn't know, so I googled it for more info...

...so it should be labeled as Psychopsis Mariposa.

It is pretty. Thank you for posting.

I have the yellow one 'Green Vally Alba'. I guess I'm lucky, each time it blooms it has 2 flowers together on the same stem. It has bloomed several times and I always get 2 together.
