This is a discussion on Holcoglossum spec. within the Orchids of Other Genera IN BLOOM forums, part of the Orchid Photography category; Looks similar like flavescens, but I think it's another species. Tom, what do you think?...

While I agree that it looks like flavecens, if there is something that makes you question that id, you might consider sinicum. Check out Jay Pfahl's pic of a H. sinicum at IOSPE PHOTOS Another possible might be yunnanense but that might be a stretch...

If the plant has pendant growths, 5"+ long leaves, it well could be H. sinicum.

I've got it as Holc. weixiense, but my plant is not pending, also not sinense and not weixiense. The shape of the plant is diffrent then typical flavescens. I'll post another picture later.

I think it's a flavescens. Mostly it likes flavescent. The lip is a bit strange but that may caused by the changing of growing condition. In Chinese this species called "short spur holcoglossum". Its spur is only 7mm long. I can see your plant is from Chencun, hehe.
Holcoglossum sinicum has 32cm long leaves.
Holcoglossum rupestre has bilobed side-lobes of its lip. Your plant is not like that two species.

The plant shown at Jay's homepage is no and will never be a sinicum. I would say that lanhuas plant is a weixiense. For a flavescens the leaves are too long and the lip-details don't fit.

Now I tend to agree Bil's judgement. The shape of the lip is important for classification. Bil, could you give us detailed information of weixiense? Thanks!
