    Hi Randy,

From your 3 species listed above, there is a indigenous Vanilla species from Mindoro.
It's Vanilla platyphylla which is known only to Sulawesi Indonesia.
In all, there are 4 Vanilla species found in the Philippines, mostly found in Luzon.

I have a friend of mine who has an unknown Vanilla species coming from the high altitude rainforest of Agusan del Sur, Mindanao.
The leaves are a foot long, succulent and leathery. Last time, I have not seen any flowers since it was grown at home in lowland.

@Ron - You got a very beautiful jewel out there, very precious. I bet that this could be a new Vanilla species in the Philippines.

    Congrats!

    Cheers...

Nope Jeff, the plant never made it, as was to expected for a cutting without roots.
And we could never id it, so its still undescribed.

Please refresh my memory, Ron: do I also have a plant of this? I seem to remember taking home a cutting or two with me...
