    Hi Mieczyslaw

Great growing. I have a plant, but not sure if I can flower it where I am living now. I keep mine in airconditioning to 20c at night, but even though it grows very well, I think it may need a chill to flower. I think it will do better in Australia when I take my collection back there,

Have you ever set seed on this plant of yours. It is very rare in collections. I hope I can set seed on my plant one day and get this plant into flask. We really need to get this beauty more widely available.

Hi Brett, this picture I took in the Botanical Garden in Shanghai. They have these plants for three years, but no flowers. I think this species needs, during the dormancy phase, quite low temperature. As I remember, in Shanghai in January the temperature drop down to -6░C. In Hangzhou, which is quite close to Shanghai the temperature should be the same.

    Thank you Mieczyslaw

I really appreciate the photos. I can confirm my plant is a nothodoritis for sure now. I got it from a friend in China. I hope to get another this year. I had two, but I damage one plant and lost it.. I could have cried a week.

Here is a photo of mine. If you can get seed on your plant. PLease consider to share it with me. I will do the same if I can set seed on mine. I plan to take this plant with me to Australia when I move back late this year. We get -2c temps in winter there, so I think it can bloom there. I just got 2 sedirea subparishii plants from China too.

Excellent pictures of this rarely seen species. Like some others this got reclassified as Phalaenopsis a few years ago. Considered most closely related to Phal lowii. You can see the resemblance in profile.
