Ron, I have about six species from this genus. I grow this species and few others I/W, dry it out between waterings, good humidity and goos air movement. Cattleya light is enough. Very few species in this genus may like a little bit cooler--I have two D. regale seedlings and I think it is a slightly cooler grower.

Evil, evil man! Constantly tempting and taunting us with BEAUTIFUL flowers! *sigh* Now to figure out where to get one and where I could possible put it .........

The flower reminds me of some of the Maxillarias

It really reminds me of a Maxillaria too. Beautiful blooms.
