    Default Lycaste Delphine

This is Lycaste macrophylla X consobrina. A friend gave this to me and apparently it is a division of the original stock plant from the secret gardends of the French Senate

Cool bloom and cool history behind it too, Lars. Thanks for posting and telling us about it. I cannot decide if the petals on this one are green or yellow with a touch of green on this computer, but it is a stunning bloom.

    Cheers,
    BD

They are green with a slight yellow/beige touch

Here are pictures of the parents

Seems that the plant inherited the colour mostly from consobrina (note that there are more yellow forms of this plant), whereas the flower shape is mainly macrophylla.

Cool, thanks for the photos, Lars. I was going to look this one up to see how the parents looked after I updated my Orchidwiz program. You saved me the trouble! Thanks!
