    Ang. leonis--Only one spike, It normally blooms in the fall or early winter for me, so this is a surprise.

    beautiful bloom... one of my honest enjoyments with orchids is the wait and then incredibly blooms like this one. (I have an Epidendrum I am always looking forward to- beautiful blooms & a scent to match!)


    If you don't mind- I'm curious what kind of climate you are in & whether this is an indoor or outdoor orchid for you. (and, of course, curious if you're having abnormal weather for spring & summer!)

    Thank you all.

    Tom, I am in Delaware. This plant will spend the warmer months(April/May-Sept/Oct) outside in the yard and indoor for colder months.
    Before the most recent heat wave, the weather had been normal/no significant difference.
