    Default Masdevallia caudata

    This species occurs in western Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru in cloud forests at elevations of 2000- 2500m. Cool - intermediate conditions.

    The species epithet derives from the Latin word caudatus, meaning with tails. Flower size 14 cm tail to tail. Plant size 10- 12cm.
