Once the flower drops, itís important not to cut off the spike as this plant will continue to produce other flowers from old inflorescences, as long as the spike remains green. Flowers can be expected from old spikes for several years.
Very nice! So far I have managed not to kill mine (though it has yet to endure my dry winter air yet so I may be speaking too soon). Now if I can somehow succeed in getting it to bloom.
That infracta bloom is awesome.
