    Default Dendrochilum NO ID

Bought this Dendrochilum a couple of months ago and it just came into bloom over the last few days.
Have no ID again. It came with a tag which reads 'Dendrochilum species Mindanao'.

    Hi Rudy,

Your plant looks like Dendrochilum propinquum.

But as Ron suggested, close up pictures of the flowers and column would make an identification more definite.

    All the best,

    Jim Cootes

    Hello Jim,

My daughter is off travelling with the camera that allows to take better close up pictures.
However looking at some pictures on the web, I believe that you are - as always - right on the mark with 'dendrochilum propinquum.

    Many thanks for the identification.
