    Nice but it is not Bulbo. lilacinum. I believe it is Bulbo. orientale.

    I checked it out. I think you are probably right. B lilacinum always seemed doubtful since that name is said to come from the lilac colour which mine certainly is not.
    I can see possible morphological differences between my flowers and the B.orientale pictures, but the B.lilacinum pics are not good enough to see the same features clearly enough to supposrt the argument. So a new label ; B.orientale it is. Thanks Tom.

    I never could differentiate them about : Bulbopyllum orientale, Bulbophyllum lilacinum and Bulbophyllum careyanum. The best way is to grow all of them to spot the difference.
