    Default Bulbophyllum lilacinum

Can't think why it has this specific name - doesn't look much like lilac to me - or smell like it ( no smell that I've noticed).
First flowering of a seedling or maybe a division - not a very big plant yet, but I don't think it will be very spectacular when/if it is. Spike about 4 inches long.

There we go! By the way I sent you a PM a few days ago asking about the method of propagation with back bulbs of my Cycnoches Wine Delight Jem.

Default Maybe you can help ?

That's the second PM I have heard about, but have not seen one yet..
Should it be an e-mail ? If so maybe there is something wrong with my advertised e-mail address ? Or is there a PM box somewhere that I ought to go and look in ?

When I knwo the question I'll be glad to answer !

But I did post a piece about prop from back bulbs specifically mentioning Wine Delight - but when I looked for it, I couldn't find it. Maybe my e-mails fall ito the Atlantic half way across....

Try clicking on the User CP at the top left-hand corner of the page and go on from there. I too would like to PM you.

Geoff, go to the top right hand side of a new page and you will see "Welcome" followed by your name. Below that is "Notifications", click on that and PM's etc. are there. Your
posting on the subject was under comments to my original posting on Cyc. Wine Delight Jem. You mentioned it could be done, but not exactly how...therefore my PM. Members cannot e-mail you directly (only PM) as the address is not given, it is only used by The Orchid Forum. Hope this clarifies matters.

    Cheers, Michael

Perhaps I should change my username to "stupid old man"... But when I click on Welcome, Dorsetman, I can't find the word notifications or anything else which looks useful for the present subject.
Looking at FAQs, it would seem that anyone ought to be able to e-mail me ? Or maybe I have to activate something first ?

( I'm not Greta Garbo { "I want to be alone..."} but I don't seem to be able to be in communication except via this space !

But maybe we'll get there with a little help from my friends ?

    Geoff,

You may need to activate/allow PM's. Have you tried going to "User CP" and then scrolling down the left side until you get to "Private Messages"?

    Geoff,

It appears Michael sent you a visitor message - a public message on your profile page. You do not have any Private messages as your PM system was not enabled. I have enabled it for you. If you would like it to be disabled, visit your UserCP and then Private Messages.

Your Bulbophyllum lilacinum is bloomed very nicely. Thanks for sharing it.

    Cheers,
    BD
