Extremly beautiful Tom, must have one!
Dendrobium leonis: this small sized dendro is hot growing epiphyte with dull green leaves with zig zag pattern.
Flower is single, about 1 cm wide and have a vanilla fragrance:

Cuthbertsonii is the one out of this last batch which has me turning a nice shade of jealous green ; it's an orchid not infrequently seen at Shows in Uk, since with our climate , not to mention heating costs, we have a lot of growers specialising in what we call cool house orchids. But they won't survive, I think , in my cattleya/vanda conditions.
But there was a superb issue of Orchid Digest just arrived here a few weeks ago, entirely devoted to Dendrobiums , and I read of some other Dend's in the Oxyglossum section like cuthbertsonii. which come from lower areas and like it warmer - and consequently are finding their way onto my wish lists - although I suspect I'll need to go to a place specialising in flasks of New Guinea orchids ( we've got one, here in UK ) to actually find plants.
I do have one Thrixpermum , and have never seen a flower - now I can guess why - I blinked at the wrong moment.

Nice entries, Branka and Ron. Thanks.

Geoff, Day time temperature in the low 80s(F) is okay with Den. cuthbertsonii if you let it cool off a bit at night. It really likes good humidity and good air movement but good water quality is a must.

Hey Thomas this is simply beautiful.

Looking at the first photograph which is a long shot of the flower reminds me of the science fiction novel by H. G. Wells and movie, "War of the Worlds". Looking at the flower almost seems like that alien peering out at you from a distance. LOL!
