    Default Papilionanthe Miss Joaquim

My Miss Joaquim is at it again... after the first spike dropped its last flower it
immediately worked on the next spike... and now the first flower off of the new
spike.... its getting tall now at about 4ft. Im wondering, I have 3 Miss Joaquim
in the same spot and all are of the same height, but only 1 has bloomed. My
    P. teres hasnt bloom yet either. Oh well I guess I have to wait longer.

Isn't this the Vanda Miss Joaquim, the national flower of Singapore?

It is a Papilionanthe though almost everyone I know refers to it as Vanda Miss Joaquim and so do I and have been doing it for more than 50 years. Maybe that's why dinosaurs have become extinct.

Oh I forgot, nice shot Randy. That lip and side-lobes just invite a kiss.
