Default Colm. Catatante, Lycaste Ciliata, and Amesiella Monticola - Christmas Haul

Really miserable week this past week. I slipped on the ice and after 6 hours in the emergency room was told my hip or pelvic bone was not broken but the bones were very badly bruised and ligements and muscles pulled. The pain is horrible and thought I would never get through work and all my other committments this past week. Things got worse at orchid society this afternoon when I was elected president after MUCH protest on my part and many reassurances of help from the membership. One bright side of it all was that it was our Christmas party and I came home with these three gems. Now if I can just limp through this, one of the busiest weeks of the year at work. It is really bad when percocet doesn't help. Anyway here is what was added to my collection today. Colm. Catatante 'Solar Flare' which has one spike open another larger one in bud and several baby spikes just appearing, Lycaste Ciliata "Dragonstone" HCC/AOS, and Amesiella Monticola. I will post pictures of the Lycaste when it opens. Happy Holidays to ALL of you. May the season be filled with all good things for each of you.

I do not know if you can find the time, but rest would help spend your recovery. Take it easy if you can and the pain will subside. Those orchids are nice mature plants. I especially like the Colm. Catatante Solar Flare. I have a quite similar hybrid. Get better soon. AL
